  • Made constituencies the same size/more modern.

  • The first acknowledgement of what a vote should be worth.

Third Reform Act, 1884

  • Reduced the property requirements.
  • Increased seats for cities.

Representation of the People Act, 1918

  • Got rid of the property requirements.
    • All men over the age of 21 can now vote.
  • Permitted women to vote.
    • But was much more restricted.
    • Women had to be 28.

This led to the the first Labour government in the next election.
