Course Structure
The AQA A-Level is split into three main units.
- Paper 1 - Government and Politics of the UK
- Paper 2 - Government and Politics of the USA and Comparative Politics
- Paper 3 - Political Ideas
In the most part, UK and political ideas are covered in year 12, with the USA covered in year 13.
Each paper is a two-hour long examination.
Democracy
Democracy is a Greek word, rule by people.
